Fashion colours 2022, also for your tie
If you want to give your wardrobe a 2022 update, don't forget the tie!
The year 2021 is almost over and that means we are diving into the trends for the new year again. The easiest way to keep up with fashion is to change your tie, or other clothing accessories, to the new trend colours.
Ties in bright yellow, soft yellow and warm yellow
Yellow is a colour that we will see a lot of in 2022. Both in early spring and during the summer period. You just must consider the hue that matches the season in which you want to wear the tie.
For example, in early spring, choose a warm and deep yellow hue for your tie. This colour goes well with a deep gray or dark blue suit.
When the days get longer and the temperature rises, you can combine a soft yellow tie with a light white shirt. A linen tie is then the perfect tie!
Nature and earth tones also an excellent choice for a tie
Subdued colours will also dominate the fashion scene next year. Earth tones like pebble and deep grey, soft beige and olive green will be common. For example, pair a dark grey tie with a deep grey suit for a subtle tone-on-tone look or pull off the same trick with a bolder colour for a suit, olive green. The suit can then be combined with a crisp white shirt and an olive-green tie. Don't forget to add some freshness to this look by putting a bright white pocket square in the breast pocket of your jacket.
A tie in highlight colours
Fluorescent colours are also coming back this year, perfect for the daredevils among us when it comes to tie colours! The advantage here is that a tie in a fluorescent colour like apple green or fuchsia pink will brighten up any outfit immediately. This kind of bright colours can be combined with many outfits, such as beige, dark blue, jeans blue and grey go well with striking colours.
Combining trendy materials
Materials also play an important role when we talk about trends. We see that natural and earthy tones go hand in hand with natural materials such as linen, wool or silk. The more striking colours, on the other hand, are often used in rich and shiny fabrics, as is the case with a satin weave. For instance, you could choose a woolen soft beige tie for a more natural and earthy look and/or a fuchsia pink tie in satin silk for a real glamour look!
